Aerodyn in Stockcar Engineering

Aerodyn was featured in the 2014 Stockcar Engineering magazine.  The
magazine featured information on the new H.A.R.P.S. system that we debuted in 2013.  The magazine also features a car developed at the smaller tunnel next door, A2 Wind Tunnel.  This is an exciting time for us at AeroDyn as we have many projects lined up for 2014!

Aerodyn Featured on Speed Channel
The team at AeroDyn has been busy testing over the past few months getting ready to kick off the 2013 racing season.  With Daytona behind us and the Gen 6 car on the track it looks like 2013 will be a great year for NASCAR and AeroDyn.  For the 2013 Speedweeks in Daytona, AeroDyn partnered with NASCAR on SPEED to highlight the aerodynamic changes brought on by the Gen 6 car.  We were happy to have Larry McReynolds and the Race Hub crew on site to film spots to be shown during the Speed TV coverage.  You can view a portion of this coverage in the video to the left.  During this same time AeroDyn was featured on numerous Toyota Racing commercials demonstrating the development of the Gen 6 Camry for the 2013 race season.

AeroDyn also had the opportunity to work with Racecar Engineering  magazine for a feature based on wind tunnels and the Gen 6 racecar.  Titled “Setting the Standard”, this article highlights how NASCAR used the AeroDyn wind tunnel as part of the development process.  The article highlights the advancements over the past few years at AeroDyn including
our updated Ride Height System and Active Boundary Layer Control updated in 2010.  Racecar Engineering also publishes an annual online version titled Stockcar Engineering which can be downloaded by clicking on the picture to the left.
